The Indiana CTSI helps researchers turn scientific discoveries into solutions that improve the health of people and communities. Through partnerships with academic, community, health care, governmental, and corporate institutions across the state, the Indiana CTSI provides researchers with support and infrastructure to accelerate their work. From pilot funding in the lab to clinical research and regulatory support, the CTSI has experts to advance research from bench to bedside.

Funding opportunities

Indiana CTSI funding programs help accelerate the work of investigators who are exploring new concepts, developing new technologies, or creating new solutions to old problems.

Project Development Teams (PDTs)

PDTs gather multi-disciplinary teams of experts to connect you with comprehensive support to strengthen your research approach and help you secure funding.

Medical Technology Advance Program (MTAP)

MTAP combines technical, regulatory, pre-clinical, and translational expertise to take medical devices from development to implementation.

Clinical Research Centers (CRCs)

The Clinical Research Centers (CRCs) support a wide variety of patient-oriented research, clinical trials, and also are a designated Phase 1 research center. The CRC’s provide investigators will clinic space, skilled nursing staff, and lab and nutrition services for both inpatient or outpatient visits.
